In the beginning

I am from a village called Velampatty in south India (Tamilnadu State). My early days were spent in that nice and humble village. Those were the days, I have learned a lot about the nature, hardships of village people and their culture. My father is my first inspiration and he gave me all the freedom to learn many things. He even brought daily news papers from the nearby town by some arrangements with the bus drivers, a luxury in those days! I changed 3 schools before passing my 10th standard. All those schools were run by the government and the medium of the language was my native 'Tamil'. My father, a teacher by profession was a hard working farmer and I used to work with him in the fields, till mid night. With all those hardships I could secure the first rank continuously from my 1st to 10th standard, without any interruption!

Education

After completing the 10th standard, my father took me to some reputed schools in our region to choose my institution for higher education. On seeing some of the so called reputed school's tortures (Teaching methods!) he decided to send me to Gandhigram, near Madurai. That is a wonderful place to learn and the whole atmosphere was humble and vibrant with learning. Students from distant countries like Kenya and Nigeria were studying there. Though I have struggled a lot in the first few months due to the English, the medium of Education, I could learn the language from the 'foreign students' with some hard effort. The same year I could win an Interschool Quiz competition, by beating the students of the so called 'reputed schools'. In my crucial second year I could not get good score due to my over enthusiasm for learning many things at onetime. Then I completed my BBA from Annamali University and got my MBA from International Institute of Advanced Marketing, Mumbai, a reputed executive MBA institution. My specialty is in Advertising.

Extra curricular activities

It is a long list! Painting is my first passion from my school days. Then comes Chess, Baseball, Cricket and 'high jump'. I have been in the Scouts for more than 4 years. My other important activity is Photography. I have learned the art from Mr Andy, an US freelance journalist. I have traveled many places (Orissa, WestBengal, Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra) across the country for photojournalism. My other passion and activity is computer and Internet. Work Experiences

My first work was with an Insurance firm as their agent. Then I have worked as an investment consultant/share broker for 3 years from 1993 to 1996. After the great 'market crash, I have lost the business and joined as a Sales Officer at Punjab Wireless (Page Me) in 1997. Promoted as a Branch incharge in few months, I have learned a lot about sincerity and work discipline from the managers, most of them are ex Colonels and Brigadiers. Then I am absorbed by the reputed concern BPL Wireless and posted in the tip of the south India, Kannyakumary. After two years they have closed their operations and I had to look for an another job. But I got selected by a reputed DOT COM concern (Indiaconstruction.com, a reputed B2B portal ) as a Branch Manager. There I have learned the intricacies of the New Economy and work culture. Now I am working as a country coordinator for a neobusiness portal worldmegaproject.com. Kindly visit my 'projects' page for my current work details.

"One thing has to be settled, that you are whatsoever you are and there is no way to be otherwise. The day you see this all misery will disappear. In that very seeing great bliss will arise in you, and maybe then love will become possible and you warm up. Nobody knows. But you cannot do it, it can only happen. It will be a gift from God, not something manipulated by you."# OSHO
